Jack’s been dubbed “the man of many faces” by casting directors in Hollywood for his versatility and his ability to realistically portray a wide variety of characters and ethnicities. Not only does he look and transform himself into the part but he’s also very comfortable speaking with a wide range of different accents and dialects, such as Russian, Arabic, Farsi, Armenian, Turkish, NY/Brooklyn, Italian, Greek and others. On top of that, he speaks fluent English, Armenian and some Russian.
Jack was born in Armenia and emigrated with his family to the United States, when he was 10 years old. Growing up in the San Francisco/Bay Area, he became a successful businessman but at the age of 42, he decided to follow his life’s passion and become an actor. After studying at the American Conservatory Theater (ACT) of San Francisco, Jack relocated to Los Angeles in 2012, to pursue a career in the film and television industry.
He quickly began to get noticed by casting directors and producers around town and started working right away.His credits include guest star roles on some of televisions top shows like “NCIS: Los Angeles”, “Weeds”, “Ray Donovan”, “Transparent”, “Bones”, “True Detective”, “With Bob & David”, “Bosch”, “General Hospital”, “Major Crimes”, “Seal Team”, “Madam Secretary”, “The Blacklist” and others.
His movie credits include roles in the Oscar-winning film “Argo”, directed by Ben Affleck, “Betrayal” where he portrays an Armenian Mob boss looking for revenge, opposite Eric Roberts and “Senior Moment” playing a funny cab driver opposite William Shatner.
In the latest film “Shock and Awe”, directed by Oscar nominated director Rob Reiner, Jack portrays the notorious Iraqi financier, Ahmed Chalabi, acting opposite Woody Harrelson, James Marsden, Tommy Lee Jones, Rob Reiner and Jessica Biel.
When not acting, Jack is busy writing and producing projects. Some of his credits include the feature film “Betrayal” and the short films “Newlyweds” and “Law Firm”. To date, “Betrayal” continues to sell and is available in over 30 countries and on all digital platforms in the US and Canada. IMDB currently ranks "Betrayal" #15 for MAFIA films and #30 for GANGSTER films.
Most recently, he’s completed the script for the crime/thriller feature film “Cost of a Life” and is currently in development on the television crime/drama pilot “Family Honor”, based on the success of his film “Betrayal”.
In his leisure, Jack loves spending time with his family, traveling and watching sports.
